Best rebuild kit and valve body?

the best kit.....if you are rebuilding a 904 for performance ....your run of the mill kit is not going to do it for you...

I would put 5 clutches in the front drum...that take 5 thin disc.....068 or .061 thickness...same as the rear drum...
replace the big spring in the front drum....24 spring kit...or opposite wound spring from ATi....
replace the servos....use billet servos....sonnax makes some inexpensive servos... or then is a billet rear servo from Randys for about 90 bucks...
you need thrust washers....bushings....teflon or steel sealing rings...only a couple of companies make them so dont fall for the reboxed parts...
transbrakes....I have 4 of them in use....all are Tranzact of Indy....1st was bought back in 1993 and still in use....they sell for around 600 bucks...
converter....well..none of our converters were made for transbrake...we use a two step were the engine is on the 2 step around 3000 to 3400 rpm...In fact the converter behind a 410 stroker motor was build in 1983...Turbo Action....buy a good brand name...do not order a 3000 converter...get one made for your engine and car...

MOPAR 904 500 42RH 42RE TRANSMISSION BILLET REAR SERVO KIT, DODGE, PLYMOUTH AMC | eBay

some reason not getting a hyper link...but go to ebay and search for 904 rear servo...
make yourself a shopping list...there are a few places on line you can buy the individual parts....or you can call one of the big names...and pay the big price...
