of a guy who did a six pack cleaner on his offy!

dart4forte, yes I have a AFB close to the 3803, but I am worried about it and this new gas. I am going to run it on racing gas to start and then slowly move to pump fuel. I have some linkage I am working with to control carb and kickdown for the auto. I have never seen an auto Hyper Pak, they didn't want it on those older trans before converters got better. I think with the 3.55 it should be ok.

Thank you itchy666, you guys impress me with what you get done with these old Mopars! Would you have any ideas on a radio speaker grill for the dash? Still looking for a new or NOS one.

Thanks everyone for the kind words!

That breather looks sweet.
If you find a radio Speaker Grill pick up two. I need one for my Lancer.
Just got the engine compartment blasted and painted. Next task is to put her on the rotisserie and cleanup the underside. Can't disassemble any more so I guess ill have to start putting things back together.
Take Care
Wayne

My experience with the bad gas has been excellorator pumps. The rubber quickly breaks down. On protecting the AFB from bad gas, I’d go with a accelerator pump made for E85. They are made of a special material that withstands the dry E85. The older pumps were made with leather but not sure how they would hold up. Edelbrock sells the E85 pumps. I’m running one on my original AVS on my GTS. So far no problems.

I didn't have enough clearance with the trans lines I bought and refitted, so I made another set. Here is the one for the rear trans fitting.

Started cutting some tube for the head pipes, I am going to need a few extra bends to do what I want to do. Pictured is the 2 into 1 Y Collector. It's a 2 x 2 to 2.5 Y.

You are an artist!! How bout bending all my tubes for my Lancer!!!????????? Please, Show us the full deal on the headers too!!!!

Just hard slow work. I spent HOURS on 2 trans cooler tubes. Really ended up making 3 sets before I was half way happy. If I was to do it again, I would just get the raw tube from classic tube, get a couple of new fittings and just start bending. Start in the middle with the pan kick up and then fit to the front and rear fittings.
I will show what I need to do to create the head pipes from the hyper pak exhaust manifolds to the Y pipe. Here is a picture of the factory head pipe.

Working on a few items, dash wiring, gas pedal, kick down linkage, throttle shaft for the hyper pak, etc. Anyone have a line on this rubber seal?

Your welcome. I will post some more as I get it put together. I have to make a longer rod for the hyper pak.

Hey Princess Valiant here is a shot from the 62 FSM. It shows most of the parts and pieces to the system.

That setup is pretty much a lot of stuff. If you have it all and that diagram, it is no problem. Some mopar engineer got smart and devised the later set up, but that early work just fine. Lots of people change over to the later setup. I have an extra pedal if anyone needs such. That might be available repop, I have never looked.

Yea, I found a rubber boot, should be here next weekend. I cut 2 of the long shafts to weld them together. Tried to drill the bracket I got from Germany and Johannes, but it must be made of unobtainium, I can't drill it! I got all the other linkage put together and it should work.

So 2 carbide drill bits, a rotary file and hours later I got the bracket on the intake. It turns out to be made of some form of Stainless Steel. Johannes, I don't know how you did this, but it will in great shape when there is nothing left of the car! You can see in this picture where the one support post was cut off and then re-welded years later. You have to love old race parts, if they could only talk.

Firewall throttle shaft bushing and master cylinder work today. I stole the stuff of the original cylinder because the dual circuit didn't have a boot on the rear.

The NOS rubber boot came today and man that was hard to install. It didn't want to pop into the firewall or into the 3 armed brace, but after a while I got it together.

I have to admit, your attention to detail is inspiring! I will not let my wife see your thread she goes out to "HER" RoadToad I painted few years back, finding spots I have to " make perfect"!!!!!! Damn

Starting to round up all the cats. She rolled on her own wheels today, front end ballparked till I get her to the alignment shop. Speaker Grill, Hood Ornament, wiring and electrical hook ups. Just plugging along.

Found some more cats. I found some new dust cover caps, since I can't find Fenton wheel caps. Battery tray and mount brackets, alternator strap and fan belt.

Dash details. Added a cover to the voltmeter, dash light was shinning through the corner. Added a dash light behind the voltmeter after the original one was re moved to install voltmeter.

I have seen them mounted on either side. If you need the short one I think I have an extra one of those. Let me know.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Finally got a day to work on the wagon. I had been searching the shop high to low looking for some parts, found them today and got a few dash issues done. So here are a few detail pictures. Hope to get more done tomorrow.
