if its the matching trans to the motor the sequence number would be stamped on top of the bell housing right next to the same number stamped on the block. why don't you post a picture of these numbers and put this all to rest.

There are NO sequence numbers anywhere on rear of block or matching location on transmission. This is and early production 1/30/67 and might not of began sequencing till later
