Cracked Timing Cover

I'm getting ready to do my Magnum swap and I decided to use my V belt set up so I installed my early timing cover and when I did I cracked the left front lower bolt hole where the oil pan bolts through . The bolt is tight but should I be concerned about an oil leak ?

Of course, unless you did something to make it not a concern.
What surface cracked?
 
Why did it crack, was it not sitting flat? Gasket out of place? Some old gasket left on the surfaces?

I would put another cover on it, but that's just me.
 
I think its fine but I have a couple extra covers PM me if your interested
