The seeming provision for an ashtray light is not an indicator that it had one, all had this. The downward facing light on the passenger side is part of a lighting package that was activated by a switch under the dash on the left side. My picture is poor but I hope you get the idea. It was considered a "map" light. All that being said, it would appear that this car had the lighting package that would include an ashtray light. The cigar lighter is located next to the radio. I found it helpful to open a file on the computer to document every number on my car, pictures could be included. This way it is easy to refer to any part of the car in the future.
