No, 28x19 alum. crossflow w/ 1 1/4" tubes/2 row. Engine is offset like TTI recommends for their headers, 68 fastback/small engine bay. The 17" fan is above the top of the cooling fins, and I have it (shroud) built up for it. I`m not having a real bad cooling problem, but not as comfortable as I`d like. I received the hi flow thermostat like YR suggested yesterday, but haven`t put it in yet.
I have experimented w/ all kinds of fan set ups, and there hasn`t been a whole lot of diff. between 'most' of what I`ve tried. I haven`t tried the no thermostat thing yet, I had to do that on a 600 horse sbc I had, wound up w/ a plate w/ a 5/8" hole in it, worked good. I would rather run a thermostat for faster warm up-------------AND THE BEAT GOES ON-
