Rearend modification costs?

I get it. But the cost is the same so why bother with the 8.75? I'm going to ditch my 8.75 and do a Dana. It makes no sense to build an 8.75 when you have nothing to start with.

But the 8 3/4 is easy peasy to do a gear change in. So unless your car is a dedicated drag car AND already sorted out the 8.75 makes a lot of cents...
