Gas Tank Filler Relocation Question
I moved mine to the top. It is still uses part of the factory neck where it mounts to the quarter, for now. I will be changing to a flapper/vented inlet. Before installing the new tank, a vent was welded in. It will have a line added to the inlet vent tube.
So the fuel spillage shouldn't happen. I do fill at half speed. If i filll fast the escaping will burp fuel out.
Find a vented/flappered filler neck and mount it to the stock location. I have one off an S10, but i have seen universal necks for sale.
