cooling not so cool

I pulled the 8 vane out of mine and went w/ a flow kooler pump, It and the robertshaw type thermostat, and back to the belt driven fan have about got me fixed up . Drove it today and it ran 190 for a while , then up to 198, then 200, and cooled back down to 195 on the hi way going w/ a stiff tailwind, never got over 200*. Still doing a little air management in the front tho-------Most of what I`ve done was suggested by yellow rose, nothing was astounding , but all helped a little to the point I`m at now.

did you get that pump pulley smaller than the crank? got mine in the mail today.If i have to loose the clutch and go fixed i will. Don't care about the HP loss, just concerned about the increased fan noise. Because there were so many issues with my system i'm going to fix/replace all at once, fill it and then test drive. cant stand the piece by piece route. i guess if there was just one or two issues i would of tried one at a time? i think you need a new computer for those pictures. LOL
