tie rod angle

You guys that are front end experts;
I have a magnum force tubular race front end in my 68 440/505 fastback.
I have built a pair of strut rods for it to help surpport the lower control arm bolts (supposedly the weak point of the design).
The tierod angle runs down hill fairly hard to the outside , from the rack and pinion to the outside wheel end, at the heigth I`ve got it set up at.
I`m gonna say about 2? inches offhand.
"Would there be any benefit to cutting the attachments down to make them more level ?" ?????????

Not a road carver ,but a tool around in ur face hotrod w/ supposedly 755 h.p.---------
