Just a little bit more about the 68 Barracuda. It's from Trumbull CT had 49,00 original miles on it. Black interior. It came with the window sticker. Not many options, the best one is all tinted glass. Love the look of the factory tinted glass.

The factory Big block K frame and suspension and large bolt disc brakes are out.
Next install HDK senspension

You probably already figured it out....but you will likely benefit from shortening the portion of the outer steering column that sticks into the engine bay. It gets awful close the rear of that big Hemi Head. I usually only leave about 1/2" sticking out which puts the centering bearing near the firewall.....then it is nothing but 3/4" shaft.

I did that same mod to my 68 Dart 440, can't remember if it was really needed but did it anyway.

That's going to be a killer car Dave.. keep up the great work.. love the color.

HDK Test Fit
Installing the K frame, front suspension and the wildwood brakes. It is amazing how well everything goes together. The only thing is on the hoop, I had to keep the top bolts a little loose to install.

Making a change to the front sway bar, going with the new design that's above the lower control arm instead of it going under the control arm. I think a much cleaner look. So off with the lower control arms and back to HemiDenny to get the new brackets welded on and the new sway bar.

So while the control arms are getting upgraded going to install the motor and get other stuff test fitted. (Not fun with a painted car)
I did ordered the steering parts. I have to order the 12 inch shocks and I think I am going with the 350 springs but thinking about going with 325.

I agree 100%. As a young kid the 68 Hemi Barracuda and Darts are the cars that got me into Hot Roding. I am so fired up to finally be able to do this after all these years. Hard work and never giving up!

ABSOLUTLY KICK A$$.
I went to 350# springs, down from 400`s, I now have the adjusters on the coil overs all the way up for ride height. Not sure of how much front end lift I`m gonna get w/ it like that, haven't been anywhere to get much traction yet tho.

After talking to Denny and others I am thinking of getting the 300 springs. Just hoping this light of spring does not cause any sag or is that adjustable?

Here is my new hood, also thinking about changing the rims. I have new front M&H front tires to match the rears. They need a wider rim so thats why I am thinking of changing them.
