1971 Duster Fender mounted turn signals

I am restoring a 1971 duster and putting fender mounted turn signals on it. I am finding them for sale and they say they were the same in 70-72. Does anyone know if this is true and if they were suppose to be painted or if they are suppose to be chrome in 71? If you could let me know it would be really appreciated thanks.
 
Hey I think the 71's are alittle different.
 
Painted for '71.

Did it come with them?
 
Also be aware there are one wire and 2 wire types. Don't know what they were using for that year.
