The distribution block Alan shows was the same as used in your '68.
It mounts to the frame rail below the master cylinder.

On your car is equiped with disk brakes, there will be a proportioning valve a few inches further back. It looks a little bit like the state of Texas. Illustrated a couple places in here.

On the propotioning valve, there's a metal band wrapped around it as the bracket to hold it to the rail. People have posted the in and out line nuts are different sizes. If so, the orientation should be easy to figure out. (I'm using an aftermarket one so can't verify that, but it seems correct).
