72 Plymouth valiant

My son tells me this morning that he pulled into the local McDonald's last night and some older guy walks up to him and complimented him on his 71 valiant 2dr. His daily driver, so he gets approached on it all the time by guys trying to buy it, or reminisce about the day they had one like it. But this time he gets asked if he wants to buy a 72 valiant 4 door. Running driving car less a wheel bearing and spindle possibly. Said his son forgot to tighten the lights after replacing a bearing and tire came off on the freeway. No major damage, no body damage at all. Drum brake car, I've got a big bolt disc brake parts car. So my son got his number, but told him wants to sell it cheap as it's at his sons apartment complex and landlords threatening to have it towed, current tags. He will have it towed to my house free of charge. So we looked at it today, cool old dude. Clean, straight, new tires, recent paint, really good interior. Clean title, he said. I asked him what he wanted, he says "cheap," I say $300? He says no, you guys are the right ones for it.( As my son is crawling all over and around, under and inside the car.) He says, "$200 and it's yours if you promise to love it. Slant six engine, 7.25 rear, automatic working a/c car. I told him done deal. I am going to disc brake it, and cruise the heck out of the car. I'll post up some pics when it gets here. I have the stripped dart parts car on the hauler so cant haul it home until tomorrow after I drop the dart carcass at scrap.
