A runner 331 short bell motor like that '54 is worth easily 1000-1500. Plus if it comes in a New Yorker carrying case, you can part the rest of that out too. Building a rod? Can't beat an ol' Hemi for cool points, and TORQUE!
no I'm not building a rod. maybe some day. I just figured these are hard to come in good running shape so I thought I would grab it if I could get it at a reasonable price. then I will put it on an engine stand and look at it. lol
