I have a 70 340 swinger w/ auto, built 11\69 on the door tag. I am looking for right AVS carb and date code. How do you know the date code of the carb? Also if it is a E.E.C carb or if car even came with that??? Thanks for all the help.

4-speed or automatic, factory A/C? Carb could be built 3 months to 3 days before the build date of the car, just a rule of thumb, nobody knows for sure when the car was built. 4933S, 4934S, 4935S, 4936S, 4937S.

Automatic, no A/C.... after looking at different carb numbers I believe it is a 4937s carb with a date code of Oct. which I found today... Thanks again for the info.... If anyone else have more info please share...
