Are all 360 external balanced

It is the hardest thing for me to do [Understanding what I am reading] ..
I get confused so easy, I have see and searched posts on this, I need an la 360 harmonic balancer.
Thanks to all of the technical folks here.

yep, all externally balanced.
 
easier for Mopar to make em, then spin 'em for balance afterwords with the longer stroke. could take care of 4-5 seperate balance component issues like that.
 
360 harmonic balancer.
B&M 360 flex plate
Neutral balanced converter (no weights)
Good to go Mike.
 
What if you have the rotating assembly balanced.
 
If you have your 360 internally ballanced
easier with lighter pistons
then use 318 or 340 steel crank flexplate and balancer and a converter with no balance weights for crank balance but it may have some to balance the converter itself
Also have the reciprocating assembly balanced
usually pistons, rings, pins and half the rod or the small end

I'm going the 4sp route.
 
On spot ,curious what Me Mike ,is working on ? A stock build ,a stock 360 balancer..
Circle track ? SFI approved, Professional Products...
 
And 340 & 360 ext balance are different. It takes veeery light parts to internal balance a 360 crank w/o Mallory metal.
 
grimreaper actually put it best. All factory 360s are externally balanced. Unless someone balanced one internally, that's the only way they would be internally balanced.
 
I found the harmonic balancer I took off of my 360 :thumbsup::thumbsup: These three year build can be ruff on an old fart, and thank you all for the great info :thankyou::thankyou::thankyou:
