Hi there, I am wondering if there is a difference in steering columns from 1 with the tuff wheel and adaptor to the regular column? Is the tuff 1 shorter? Once the adaptor is off can I just put on a regular wheel? or will it be too far away from the driver? Any help is sure appreciated. Thanks. Kim

Hey Kim. My opinion, not owning a whack of tuff wheels, would be that because the tuff wheel is flat it required the can. Many other wheels actually have an offset that moves them closer to the driver. So I would say, there is no different columns other than manual or power steering.
Hey George, I was thinking that also, but the last time I had a tuff wheel off would of been in the 80s. Long time to try remember from. Kim
