If it's big and ugly is a Lakewood. There is a very remote possibility it's McLeod but I doubt it.
Those were the only choices up to just recently.
You can get a window out in the can if you want. If all you are going to use it for is adjusting freeplay it isn't worth it.
If you are going to tune the clutch than you need to get a window in the can.
