Super victor intake and valve cover clearence

Had the same issue with my air gap intake. What I did was use about 3000 feet of masking tape to tape off the entire area where the valve cover would normally be on the head. Then I took a hand grinder and carefully ground the hump off of each runner on the intake. Then before removing all the masking tape I vacuumed everything, then blew it off with an air hose to be sure. Then I carefully removed the masking tape "valve cover" I had made and put the real valve cover back on.

My Air Gap and my Super Victor did the same thing. I run the Mopar Performance covers. I ground the seating surface of the valve covers at an angle to match the intake. You can't tell by looking at them unless they are off the vehicle and you look at the bottom. Then I use Fel Pro gaskets with GM silicone sealant. I never leak a drop anymore.
