6.1 Hemi 69 Barracuda Fastback Father Son Project
Pulled the Pilot Bushing out of the end of the crank.
My first time ever welding was not pretty but was effective.
First use of my Harbor Freight flux core welder too.
Test fit the exhaust manifolds.
Tight fit but it looks like we have a winner. 09-10 Jeep 5.7 manifolds from Ma Mopar.
These have the "D" shaped ports that match the 6.1 head exhaust ports.
Now to figure out if I can adapt a steering shaft and coupler to clear the manifold...
Test fit the 727. New dipstick and tube also.
