65 2dr post Dart, 408 with 904,4200 stall, 504 hp at 5700 518 tq at 4600,3.55 gears, ET street tires. Has a coilover rack and pinion built by me, wilwood discs up front, full 2.5 exhaust, ProCar buckets, no heater, all body parts original. No cold air package.

Probably low 11's...possibly high 10's, just not sure due to the 3.55 gears.

Would be helpful if we knew the weight@the line, then we could be more accurate.

Figuring the weight is a tough one. It should be identical, or very close to a stock 273 automatic 2dr post. Heavier or lighter items are the wheels and tires, 31 lb ea fronts, 47.5 lb rears. Aluminum intake, headers, full 2.5 inch exhaust to the bumper, Wilwood front brakes, coilovers and rack and pinion setup. 8.8 rear end with disc brakes. No heater or ducting, all steel body. ProCar light weight buckets, stock rear seat.

It should run well down in the 11’s Greg, if not the 10’s.
You have only 3.55 gears but i am guessing probably only a 26 inch tire( my little bro has a 66 Dart) so the gears probably dont hurt that much.
My 3300 pound stock stroke, bone stock shortblock 360 runs 11.20’s in good air at 118+ with a flat hood and very mildly ported eddies, car is little over 10 to 1
Yours i bet will run good bit better that that. I still dont have my convertor right.
Cant wait till you give it a shot. Good luck

Wasn't the advertised curb weight for v8 cars 2880# or so?

I know 70 340 Duster is 3120 curb weight. I have had a 70 and a 71 and both weighed 3350 or more with me in the car. I am 300+.
My brother is about 250 and has a 66 Dart Gt with an aluminum headed 408 in it. Car is all steel with factory bucket seat/ console interior in it. Weighs 3300 with him

I might come in at 3200 with me in the car, based on the 66 dart weight and what i have that makes my Dart lighter. Thanks!

mid 11's exhaust is the limiting factor.imo

At 3200 race weight and 504hp on open hdrs, 3.55's/27" tall tyres? it should go>
60 Foot E.T. : 1.50
1/8 Mile E.T. : 6.81
1/8 Mile Trap Speed : 99.88
1/4 Mile E.T. : 10.79
1/4 Mile Trap Speed : 124
1/4 Mile Trap RPM : 5,493+slip
whether you can pull a 1.50..60 with 3.55's is the question?
Exhaust will obviously hurt it

Thanks for the input. I agree, the closed exhaust, possible poor 60 ft, and no cold air package are going to hurt. I figure it will be off its' best potential by as much as half a second.

I just weighed the car 3115, no driver, 1/2 tank gas. These Darts are 5.23 inches more wheelbase than the valiant line.
