guys, i need advise. I need the measurements of an axle shaft for a 72 housing ( 8 3/4, 486 case but 4.5 bolt pattern ) to replace my existing axles with axles from Strange. I can't measure myself because i would have to destroy the green bearings on mine. Maybe one of you guys has notes or an axle arround? the measurement i hardly need is that Dimension B on the order form Strange is asking for. thats the bearing stop which is machined on the shoulder of the axle.
unfortunatly i can't upload my measurements here. But guess you know the form I am asking for.

Good thought. Bit i wants strange because i order here in Germany through a Local Dealer. And they need the exact measurements
 
Contact Cass at Dr. Diff im bet he will have the answr for you. I have 2 loose oe a-body axels but yhth have oe bearings on them. i can get you measurements BUT i cant guarantee the accuracy
 
B dimension on a standard, 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern Mopar axle is 2.5".

This does NOT apply to RE-DRILLED 5 x 4" bolt pattern A-body brakes.
