When does money outweigh sentimental value? 1968 notchback build thread

I love 'em. Our cars are already too much alike... mine is just the darker green version and the drivetrain is a bit different.

Also being that your buddy did the R&D with you on these, would he concider offering these to the mopar community?? He's got the CNC pattern for the web part of the wheel now. I would say he's sitting on a gold mine with that. I bet theres a big market for these. Light weight aluminum forgings that look like steelies. How much lighter are these than the steel ones they replaced ? They would be great. Not just A body, but B, C, and E body guys might want them. Heck they would look great on a mid 70s D150 pickup too. I would do up a set of 4 and have the rim lips painted red to mimic a redline tire.

I was contemplating something like this; was wondering what hoops were available. I was thinking 18x9/12 or 18x10 on front and 19x11-1/2 on the rear. I have seen 19" hoops that are stepped and take 18" centers! Is the shop that made these in your area?

I agree they look great. Are you going to leave em with chrome lugs as is, or add 68 style bottle cap poverty caps to them?

I have a set of the '68 style poverty caps; I was wondering if they fit the same wheel as the dog dish caps you have. What is the ID of the hub cap lip that snaps onto the wheel?
