Hey everyone,
I bought a stash of parts from a guy a few years back. In the stash was a 65 Valiant that he intended to restore. The plan was to convert it to a 4 speed setup. In the parts collection is two sets of pedals. The set on the left seems to be correct for the early A body. The set on the right looks different. It has what I see as a depression at the top of the cage for the speedometer cable. Is the set on the right for a 67-76 model?

The set on the left have the correct 63-66 pedal pad rubber pattern. The curve of the brake pedal levers are different between the two. They have the same 4 bolt pattern at the firewall. I plan to sell the right set, I just need to know what it is so I can be accurate in the ad description.

Neither have the spring attached but the mount is there on both sets.

Thank you. Can you tell me what differentiates a 75-76 to the 67-74 models?

The set on the right does not appear to be a 340 set; the support bracket is missing, or just never was there.. Measure the pin to pin distance; it should be 6 inches to provide adequate clutch departure at less than an on-the-floor pedal. The 5.25pin to pin will only provide about .030 departure. You can verify this on the Brewers site...... I think.

MoparBrad....Your INbox is full so I could not leave a message. I found that I have 2 sets of the later pedals along with the one set of earlier ones.
