The passenger side rear quarter panel and roof appear to be a darker blue than the passenger door and front fender? Was that part resprayed and why?

Thanks for the inquiry. A previous owner scrapped the rear quarter backing up. They repainted the rear quarter but did not match the existing color very well. It has an amateur paint job. It’s been a “driver” for me. The car does not need any major metal work....just a paint job if desired.
