Set up for a smallblock race engine on pump gas 600hk

I FINALLY made 576, with 360 .040 over, and hand ported Edelbrocks done by my dyno guy. On his off time....over the whole damn winter.

It was a long, expensive, and trying build. And I'm still having some "issues". I will say it is a fun motor on the street with 4:30's and a 4 speed, but I have some bugs to figure out this winter.

Someone prior mentioned it's all in the heads and boy is he right.
I honestly think if you grab some W2 stuff and have the heads done RIGHT, it'll be easy. So here's a good recipe:

4.040 bore with 4 inch crank
W2 heads that flow at least 300 by .600
11 to 1
Solid roller with around .650 lift and 265 duration @.050
