Frame Damage While Being Towed - Need Advice and Input

I had a similar problem with a AAA tow truck. A few years back I had just bought a Magnum R/T. On the way home from the dealer the trans crapped out. Called AAA for a tow. They sent out a truck and because of prior problems with tows I told him that I wanted the car strapped down by the tires/wheels. I was in a rental car behind him. I went back to the renatl and while I was walking back to the car he had just grabbed the front lower control arms with his hooks and took off. We were about 80 miles from home at night when this happened. I couldn't catch up with him as it turns out he went a different way than I did. My wife was in the tow truck and I was in the renatl. Well when I got home the car was in the driveway and he was gone. The next morning I went out and started the car to see if it would move after sitting all night. It did, I backed up and it sounded like the suspension fell out. I had it towed to the local Dodge dealer and got iot up on the rack. Both lowers were bent, the sway bar brackets were bent and the sway bar was hinging loose. I called the tow company and asked for the boss and was told he was out of the office. 6 calls and the next day, found out that the driver that towed my car Was the owner and denied fault. I told him that I was going to call AAA and that I was sure that he was paid very well under his contract with AAA and it would be in his best interest to repair my car. I am a 42 year member with AAA and told them my complaint. The owner of the tow company called me about 15 minutes later and apologized and said to just send him the bill which I had the dealer do. The right calls took care of the problems. Be the squeaky wheel and don't let them control the situation. You have the power.
