Finally getting to it!!! 1970 Duster 340
Plz forgive me Kevin, because I like you so much, I just can't stand not throwing you under the bus. He and his lovely wife Nora just left my shop, so, he won't see this post for at least 5 hours. He is going away from orange peel and allowing me to slick his paint, I think Nora gets credit for that since I've been beating him about his head and shoulders for weeks without success. It would be such a shame to hide all the work on perfect body lines with orange peel.
We have a bunch of wet sanding and buffing to do over the next week. I'm going to install his rear end and shutz the front/rear wells for him so his car can go directly to his garage from my shop. I have a full restoration shop and have done nothing but my own cars over the years, I have way to many, it's really neat helping others. Anyone need a body done? We have time, however, be prepared to pay since we do one at a time spending 60 hours a week until it's done.
I would love to post pictures of Kevin's car, it's his car and I'm sure he will keep everyone posted. If all goes well, he should be driving it this spring.
