1973 Dart H Code value

I agree Barbee. I think your point proves valid in that to anyone else, and I am confident when I say ANYONE else, a car with a rusted out roof, and a “motor and transmission that goes with it”, couldn’t be worth much if anything. An A body? Maybe it’s worth a little something. But for me, and I can not begin to tell you why, but this silly car is beginning to have more and more value. I think it’s because the car is in really good shape outside of the roof. Or maybe it’s because I’m ready to start sleeping again instead of thinking about this project all hours of the night. Maybe?

Truthfully, I think the attraction is simply, the overall condition of the car, and the fact it’s a 340 4 speed.

IMO, 4 speed bigger (physical size) cars epitomizes 70’s muscle cars. My brother had a early 70’s Grand Torino in the late 70’s, had wide back tires, was “jacked up in the back with mags”, and that damn thing was the coolest car I had ever seen! To find a 340 like this one, while they are out there, finding one somewhat local and relatively in tact, not an easy feat.....
