1974 Duster door glass, need advice

Need to just change out the glass, looks fairly simple, is it, I'm pretty mechanically inclined however I know window glass can sometimes be a *****, dont want to bite off more than I can chew

Stupid easy if you have the tool to take the glass itself off the mechanism.
(sometimes those are loose anyway)

1. Panel off
2. Window or mechanism down all the way.
3. Upper trim and lock knob off.
3. Remove attaching hardware at the bottom of the glass.
4. Slide old glass out the top, and reverse to put the new one in.
5 Reassemble the stuff you took off the door.

Hints:
The tool is a big help.
Inner tube rubber makes great glass to metal insulators.
Vacuum tubing or nylon reinforced fuel line works good for insulating around the bolts that go through the glass.
(You don't want metal directly contacting glass ANYWHERE.)
