clutch

That big spring is supposed to bring it back, but it can only do so if it returns to the Non-over centered position. I bet if you give it a little help it will snap back and hit the stopper. If it does then you need to figure out why it's acting like this. The clutch is supposed to initiate this action, but if your TO bearing is too far away from the fingers, perhaps it cannot.
I just pop it all the way up with my foot when driving. . Clutch engages good, releases good, BUT this duster is just a woreout ole slant TOO!!!
