Hey team!

Marko here from Australia!

Can you please look through the photos and advise me which distributor I have, and which PerTronix Ignitor II part number I should purchase. I will grab plug leads to suit as well.

I have a I have a 1966 VC Valiant with a 1973- Mopar Small Block 318, hooker 4-1 headers, mopar single plane inlet, magnum iron heads,
It is currently on Propane only, and I am putting a fuel tank and lines in, and upgrading to a FAST Ez-EFI.

I want to delete the Chrysler electronic ignition and upgrade to an Ignitor II and an E-core coil to suit my distributor. I tried clicking through the ignition identification tool, but had no luck finding my distributor.

Can you please advise either:
which part number I should get for the ignitor ii, or
what the make and part number of my distributor is?

The number you can see through the hole on the brass component is 889264.

Thanks In advance!

Marko

Pertronics does not make an ignitor for the Mopar OEM style electronic distributor.
You have to get another distributor that they do make one for, or better yet go to 4secondsflat.com (FBO Systems) and get one of their Pertronics Igniter III with digital rev limiter distributors and they custom curve and set the rotor phasing for your application.

You want a PerTronix 9Ch-181. It' the Ignitor II version that works in the Mopar electronic distributors. I just installed on in a Dart on Monday, and will be doing another on Friday.

9CH-181 - PerTronix Ignition

There is nothing wrong with a mopar electronic dist, that's all I run
