Question about windshield washer on 65

And where would I get a pump? One more, all I can find are bottles/reservoirs for a manual washer. Help? Here's a pic of my knob.

The pump used in your 65 mounts below the washer bottle (which happens to be the same for both the foot operated and electrical pump) on the shock tower and is gravity fed from the washer bottle. As others have mentioned the pump is turned on by depressing the wiper switch. There is a brown wire connected to one of the terminals on the wiper switch, routed through the bulkhead connector and on to the pump.

Where to find the pump? I've pulled at least 9 or 10 from cars I've parted out and of that many, One might be completely useable - pump works and both input and output nipples are good. All are cosmetically bad looking. Mostly it's the pump that's bad. Once in awhile a NOS Mopar one will turn up on eBay for an ungodly amount of money that I can't afford. Someone on another site said check out the repro washer pumps used on mid-60s Mustangs. They looked identical to the Mopar pumps! So I bought one (all of $29.95). There are some minor differences - the ground strap is mounted a bit differently, the pump base mounting holes are spaced a bit differently and of course being a Ford authorized reproduction, has a Ford part number stamped in the base on the bottom where you gotta turn it over to see it. I don't think my Dart wagon is gonna care if the washer pump has a Ford part number on it as long as it works. The pump electrical connector is the same as is the input nipple from the bottle as is the output nipple to the hose going to the nozzels. I'll see about posting some side by side pics in a bit.
