My new 75 Duster stocker, let the fun begin.

Dang that’s a big ol’wheel stand!

Update:
I have decided to buy the superstock combo the car was running rather than the stock eliminator setup. Car will be SS/JA. Engine is currently being refreshed and will be installed early in new year, ready for the 19 season.

I am also going to switch the 75 rear bumper out for a 73 style bumper. The 75 adds a lot of weigh to a good place on the car, I just do not care for the appearance. Ballast compensation can be made up in the trunk.

Could you tell what changes on car to go from stock to super stock? Same tires?

Although superstock allows wheel tubs and big tires, this particular car has hooked very well on the 9" tire with superstock powertrain. I will not be tubbing this car, it could go back to a stocker at any time.

I can tell, it's on the bumper lol
An option for me then.
What would your index be? are u doing the 340 since going to the 73 bumper?

Well after a lengthy delay, the SS/JA Duster should be ready for end of June. Just installed new Aerospace rear disc brakes last night. Will be using two step ignition, the brakes combined with the two step will allow me to hold full throttle on the line without rolling through the beams. The Pro Trans 904 is refreshed and ready to go. Engine should be done later this month, then install the Accusump accumulator. I will keep posted on progress.

If you don’t want to answer I’ll understand. Launch RPM, shift RPM, trap RPM. And if you are willing...rear axle ratio.

On a side note, how high is the ceiling in that garage? I have been toying with the idea of a lift in my garage but I only have 10’6” ceiling.

Hello, I do not know this info at this time to be honest. Once I get the car running I will get a handle on these things and will share. The current gearing is 5.13, also have a set of 5.38 for 1/8th mile. The dyno session next week will likely provide insight into some of these questions also.

This is at my friend's garage, I believe he has 10' ceilings. We may have been able to get car slightly higher but not much. At max lift possible due to ceiling, the rear axle was at about shoulder height, can't fully walk upright under the car but it sure beats working on the floor.

Just checked with Gerry, he confirms my suspicion. His ceiling is 10'
