I call that posting help. It’s one my phone react really slow. I think it doesn’t post so I post it again. Same crap happens to me.
LMAO

What is your experience with JVX transmissions?

Turbo 400. Cheaper to build to withstand high HP levels.

...and thanks for your service.
Enlighten me how it is cheaper to build including an adapter bell housing please. The odd turbo 400 can blow up just like a 727,
It has a sprag that fails as well if you do not do your burnout correctly just like a 727.
727 is plenty strong for high horsepower, especially a small block.
IMHO.

Ok I'm gonna stir the pot a bit
What about an A833 with a GVOD behind it, used as a splitter? This makes it a semi-auto, able to be used in several ways.
First lets look at the 904. the ratios are 2.45-1.45-1.00 with splits of .59-.69.. To hit say 110 in the qtr, you would likely need 4.10s or 4.30s depending on your power. Lets say 4.10s. So your TM (torque multiplication), and effective final drive ratios will be 10.05-5.95-4.10. OK great that is your target.
Now with the A833/GVODsplitter, your first gear ratio options are 2.66 and 3.09. Lets work it out with the 3.09. Your ratios will be 3.09-2.41-1.92-1.50-1.40-1.09-1.00-.78od, gvods in red. Lets put 3.73s in the back. The effective ratios available are 11.52-8.99-7.16-5.58-5.22-4.07-3.73-2.91
This is how I might shift it ; 11.52-8.99-7.16-5.22-4.07 Coun 'em; 5 ratios in the qtr, with two pulls, and two full-power electric shifts. ...... and check out the 2.91 cruiser gear.and the 11.52 starter gear.
The splits on this pattern are .78-.80-.73-.78 ..So your engine will be on the cam for more of the time, which should translate to lower than expected ETs, and higher trapspeeds.
And you have the fully adjustable stall speed which is right for every occasion. And the 11.52 starter will let you run a lightweight flywheel, instead of that heavy fluid-coupling.
And on the street with 3.73s there is no need to use the splitter, until you get up to hiway speed. But I know exactly what you are gonna do...... you are gonna run it out to 45/50mph and hit the splitter to stretch first gear out to 60=6500 badaboom. You won't be able to help it.

But I tell you what; put 3.55s into it instead, and hit 93 in the 1/8 using just the first 4 ratios; 1 pull and two splits. The ratios are 10.97-8.56-6.82-5.32, and 93= 6150
and 110 will be in third gear now, at 110=6560 or at 110=5300 in 3od.

And don't forget cruise gear is 2.77 so 65=2240rpm .You can run a 230 cam there no sweat. I do.............

The point is, this combo has so many options you can do practically anything with it. And as you may know, these two items are practically unbreakable.
jus saying,plz don't hurt me,lol.
