Before I jump into this like last time and have a mess, I though I would ask the group how to lower the hood at the back near the cowl. Mine is sticking up above the fender noticeably. Last time I loosened the hood bolts, I made a mess of my situation and I did not have any help there to hold the hood on a 70 dart

where the back bolt is on the hood...push down on the hood...then tighten bolt...

I just did a 75 duster hood by myself last monday...and I am 65 yrs old....suck it up...LOL

I’m not far behind you, I’m 61.
I made the mistake of loosening both

It can easily be done alone
1- open hood
2- loosen front bolts on hinge, then just snug them up
3- loosen rear bolts on hinge, then push up on front of hood, you will see the rears move (the front bolts act as a pivot)
4- tighten and check.

This is the way to do it in a nutshell!

I just did this yesterday. I placed a 4x4 stacked with 2 2x4's between the radiator and the front of the hood with a towel between the radiator and the wood for padding. That left the rear edge of the hood lifted enough to access the bolts and made it easy to push down on the back corners for adjustment.
