Mounted the new front runners on my new wheels. Slapped the combo on the new disk breaks and the lug nuts just seem wrong.. no shoulder and short....

Called JEGS and turns out the dang wheels I bought are NOT SFI approved...
No wonder the lug nuts dont work.....

F#ck my life... no wonder they were so cheep.....

Not so cheep now that I got to buy another four....

SON OF A *****......

Jegs is usually pretty good about putting that stuff back on the shelf and working with you when you call them and talk to them. if you get a nice person on the phone and explain to them what happened and that you're going to spend even more money with them if they can waive the restocking fee. Sometimes the closed mouth doesn't get fed remember and they're pretty cool they want your business..

Good thing about summit is the no hassle return policy. Suck for the shipping cost though. Good luck.

The guy on the phone was cool we both laughed about it but he did say once they have tires mounted "you own them"..

I seen those rims on a duster that drives to Woodburn dragstrip and does low 12's.
Also seen him on a black 60s El Camino at Portland International Raceway Dragstrip. Honestly, I didn't care for them. but then again I probably truly would never be happy with a rim unless I was able to one-off design it myself.

I bought them cuz they had good reviews and were cheep. The draglites have mixed reviews, seem to crack and cost boocoo bucks...

My bad, never go cheep on a dang race car....

That might be the ugliest wheel I have personally ever seen. Wow

That's like saying "your lady is the ugliest woman I've ever seen."
It's you opinion on something that is a purely personal choice, and has no affect on you.

Sometimes it's better to just keep your mouth shut.

Like my mother taught me, if you don't have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all..

Or just look like a total *** hat and be that guy.

I guarantee you would not walk up to my car and say that. Why would you? What do you gain? Nothing besides a possible busted lip and regret...

Depends on weather u mean to truly dam some one or something----------
I don`t think the wheels are that bad myself, far far from the ugliest wheels out there , look at the new crop of aftermarket pick up wheels, talk about UGLY!

Only problem with that is I'm not a liar.
I'll own my mistakes.

Very cool.. good for you!!

Even though Karma can sometimes be a *****, I think that doing right by people also works in your favor as well.

Good luck with your project.

My buddy has those on his drag car. Maybe check if you need longer studs along with taper seat conical open end lugs.Maybe.

Hey, you post stuff on a Internet forum your gonna get opinions, don't like opinions, then take your own advise and stfu. And you bet your *** I'd say it to your face, you don't know me son, and a busted lip? You got a lot to learn.

Most places wont take wheels back after tires have been mounted. Sorry for your mistake Cope, I like that style wheel and think they look better than polished on certain colored cars. I don't think I'd run a race weight wheel on the street though.
