plumbers tape is not recommended for fuel fittings as it can tear during installation and end up in the fuel. Use Permatex HP thread sealer. View attachment 1715233156
I agree with this^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
plumbers tape will be better than nothing, as long as u don`t go over the end where it can be cut and get in the system, and wrap it in the right direction.
