back in my younger days that old 318 would float the valve long before i could hit 7 grand. I would have been there all day with my foot to the floor.(200,000 mille 318 with a 2.76 gear in the rear.):lol:
Yeah the springs on mine were done at 4800. I put some other springs on that I had laying around, and it went 5400 without complaint. I think they mightabin 360 2-bbl springs.
