Electric power steering
Well I built my eps set up for my duster and it turned out pretty good, here are a couple pics of it. It was pretty easy minus I had to mod the bracing for the brake pedals that go th where the steering column mounts. After doing this I found out that you can move the silver control box off it and remote mount it, then it probably would have cleared them. The input coupler is cut off the equinox’s shaft drilled to 3/4” and welded to the duster shaft, the output coupler is from epowersteering.com along with their control module, and the I joint is from flaming river double d to 3/4” splined. The bearing on the firewall is just a 3/4” bearing from amazon. I temporarily hooked it to power and it seems to work well. I’ll try to figure out how to post my video of it working.
