One of the guys got given a complete 8.75 with 3.55 gears for his car.
I think he got ripped off because it's a one legger.:D
Another one just got his sun faded black accents redone by some of us for his Birthday.
We bought all the paint, reducer, hardener and accessories and I sprayed it with my 6oz Eastwood gun.
The twin scoops were taken off for the new paint.

I know I got plenty of parts to trade and stuff like that too and give away for that matter. Everyone around here thinks they're going to be the next Mopar Parts King or something I don't know...
 
Down here in swamp country, There is a pick and pull. $1 to get in got me some nice comfty seats out of a stratus for $35 each.

How do you think these would sound on a /6, I have a muffler on now thats sounds like it's farting though a straw.

You could be subject to a search at any given time and they will prosecute if they see fit. Usually small stuff ( bolts, clamps, relays... the end up giving you.

What a mental derailment! LOL now instead of my thoughts cutting some mufflers on which cars to look at tomorrow you've got me thinking what a fart would sound like going through a straw and how the tones would change with the length of the straw? Damn it!

ya , It's not a good sound. Better test em out first,LOL most junkyards won't take em back.LOL
 
Never would have thought there was a market for used mufflers, I threw out a pair of Flowmasters and a pair of Sonic Turbos that I had carted around/stored/moved too many times.
I was at the local Pick&Pull last week & got a ladder rack for my truck for $25.
 
I’m sure I’m like the rest on here...that if you were closer I’d give you a pair of Turbos I’m taking off of mine!!! I’d rather see them go to good use rather than a tin cup in China!!!!

But we live on 2 different coasts!!!
 
You're going about this a little backward. Wait for half price day. As mentioned, load up on light bulbs, fuses, high quality oem bolts and ohose clamps, and floor change. For what you're spending, if the yard is large enough and your standards low enough, you might leave with all your paper money intact. They love it when you use junkyard change to pay for your junkyard parts. Love it. Just dump that greasy, sticky, stinky change all over the counter like you're Monty Burns or Scrooge McDuck, and let them count it.

If you're super cool, you'll scab onto a diplomat electric trunk lock or similar. Even the little air compressor in the Cadillac world for airing up flats and air shocks.

Stay away from late model land, their mufflers are huge.

It sounds a lot like someone blowing through a straw, but it's easy to tell the difference if you are the one listening.:D

Bro, you carry more than I got! Go get yourself some Junk yard muffs! If its a LKQ pick-a-part, go online and register and you get a free pass in. Just take your phone and show the guard and he'll tell you to go get a receipt from the cash register person and go back and show him. Saves 3 bucks here.
