m2 diecast anybody else into these

I got these while on a weekend vacation getaway 4 hours from home. The bronse 440 cuda i just got, i went back next day, and got a second one as well before we left to come back.

Locally i think theres somebody who must get first crack at em before they go on the shelf. I have a coworker who does that w hot wheels. They set the cases aside for him to go thru before they put em on the peg hooks.

Rick, are you interested in trading that spare red one for the spare bronse one i have?

We could do a trade!

I'll PM you with my mailing address....

I like their variations with optional equipment (hoods etc) and stripe packages.

Those AutoWorld pieces are quite nice as well.

Both are also offering non-HP cars with flat hoods on some of the body styles, and AW is offering some rarely included models, like 64/65's and 73/74's.

VERY cool of them.

M2 release #36 i think it is, they have a barracuda base model w slant 6, and same painted model as V8 w 340 stripes

Also same release a 68 firebird sprint w OHC 6, along w same color firebird with a 400 V8

Collection has grown conciderably since i started this thread. Some are stacked 2 vehicles deep due to lack of space.

I got an autoworld 71 swinger from a member on here. Might have been you @moparmat2000. Can't remember if I sent a part or some measurements or something. Anyway, I've looked at stores and now have it several colors but my dart is B5 blue. And I have not been able to find blue! Do any of you have a blue or know if theu even made it in blue?

My nephew is 4 and loves cars. I have around 200 hot wheels and some other makes of mostly mopars. Every time he comes over he persuades me into opening and taking a few. I'm just about out of them now and he is eyeing my Darts. I'll evenually give in and give him one but the rest I'm keeping.

I think i did give you a dart as a gift for a pattern for something you sent me. Its been awhile.

Check pepboys diecast aisle. I bought my son a hot wheels sized 3 car STP themed "shop" for Christmas, and just picked him up a vintage Texaco Station. Both are made by greenlight. About $20. Can prob get cheaper online for about $14.99 but shipping will kill ya. Both have diecast opening lift up garage doors. My sister in law bought him a play rug w roads on it.

Just bought an M2 hauler for my collection. Dodge L600 accel products. Bonus road runner inside.

Picked up a couple more. Got a good deal at walmart. Bodies were popped off chassis at the back end. Boxes were still sealed so they must have been drop checked in shipping lol. They gave em to me for $3.50 each. I used a jewelers screwdriver to fix em. Took maybe 10 minutes.

I try to collect hot wheels and 1/24th scale in the old muscle cars. Problem is, I live 90 miles from a Wally and local store carries a few hot wheels only. I am lucky to find one here in a couple years.
Yote

New releases. Picked up 2 of the 68 340 cudas and a 66 charger. Been working trades with another member on fabo. He sent me 2 cudas on a lift, and i sent this 66 charger and 68 cuda back.

I like the detail on these but it bothers me that the A body Barracuda is larger than the B body Charger.

They're supposed to be "scale". Shouldn't the be the same scale?

They are the same scale the pic was taken looking down with the charger on the bottom. When side by side the charger is longer

My Walmart doesn’t keep as many anymore I have several barracudas. Was shopping on amazon and this set popped up. Pretty cool cars. Especially the Bootleg.

I got 2 sets of the wildcard hemi cudas. One set is boxed, other set is unboxed and displayed. I payed $5.75 each a few years ago for those. Very nice. Only made so many, price went up. $17 still isnt bad.
