Pretty sure this was the pass that the guy on the sled was completely out of the groove....less than a foot off the Jersey wall...and never lifted...and he was in the low 9's.

I was trying to get a 2nd hand pair of asphalt skis and track, wanted to run my sled but didn't happen.... sold the sleds

I normally get to the track early enough to wander thru the pits so I can get some shots of various rides and talk with people. This guy was there for the last weekend of racing...and I was late both days...only thing I heard was it has a small block..

Have a couple of local racers that run their bikes hard. Matt has a turbo Kawasaki ZX14 that runs in the 7's if I remember right. Seen him a tick under 180mph. Then there is Skippy..
Front tire was off the ground from the launch. I have a series of 14 shots from the launch to here. Think this was in 3rd gear. 170hp...plus 130 nitrous spray.
