It's just around the corner.
I'm finishing up a camper for someone who will owe me enough bucks to have Foto fixed.
They should be picking it up around the 3rd, then I can drop Foto off to get a new pinion bearing. Then it's quit my job and back to hauling scrap and working for myself.
I stood in there this morning getting yelled and cussed at like I was 14 years old for $6K worth of F up I had nothing to do with and didn't even know it happened.
I told the se3cond in command who was in there with us later that I was too old to be spoken to that way and I was gone the first chance I get.
A holes.
As soon as Foto is done I'm gone and back to living on my own terms. Broke but on my own terms.:banghead:

Sadly FOTO is gone now.
Traded for a POS 2005 Magnum.
Wish I had not traded it off now. We were in desperate need of a car for ABodyBetty so I did a desperate thing and traded it off.
She had a deer hit her Aspen and we needed transportation right away after the insurance dragged their feet for 27 days on a 30 day rental.
At least I now have a fender and am putting the Aspen back together.

Now all I need to find is a headlight bucket and trim ring.

Great to have you back posting here.
The damage on the Aspen doesn't look too bad, and you'll have it back on the road in a jiffy.
 
funny how bosses can "vent"! my outlook has always been to give people the benefit of the doubt, ....and then politely explain I don't appreciate being mistreated, I try not to mistreat others, and that in my 66 years I havn't taken a lot of s--- of anyone and don't intent to start today!???? LOL
sometimes we just have to be " clear" how we intend to be treated??? life's too short for crap???

Sorry to hear about FOTO.... Hopefully he will come back again someday, as many of your other vehicles have.

Yeah, this is an enjoyable thread to read. No hating or bashing. Just people living their life the best they can without hurting others. Very nice read!

Sorry been so long....
Aspen not done. ABB got an 04 Jeep Liberty on short notice this past October. She needed something to drive for work and the rental was up from the deer strike.

Car Hauler gone.
Now have a 93 F-150 for my daily driver.
Still same job. The boss I didn't like? Me and him became friends before he retired this last Friday night. I got a promotion into the #2 slot just under his old position so I'm in line for his old job if anything else should happen.

ABB, I and our 2 pups are doing okay.

Still looking to the future for more free money and free time to re-start my hobby. Would like a roll back next time!!!

Aspen might sell tomorrow so that would just leave us with the 64Dart170. That's okay though, it's her turn for attention now. Plus she fits in better here than the Aspen! :)

Hope all our old friends here are still doing okay. Glad to know there is some people out in the world who still care about us.

Anyway lost that job in July.
Unemployed now.
ABB not with me anymore don't know where she is. Sorry.
Looking for new job and new woman but not a new car!:drama:

This place has changed a bit in two years. Can't wait to dig in again.
Got my studded snow tires on last week inspected rear brakes good.
Installed new master cylinder today and will be inspecting front brakes tomorrow.
Hope it will make it again this winter. Replace missing undercoating in wheel wells today too.

You know, there was some really great times we all had on this thread.
Getting my 64 back on the road now.
Once I land a new job I'll be saving for a RAM Rollback for the next chapter of....wait for it......
