I finished painting my seat tracks last night. My adjuster wire that runs from the driver's side to the passenger track was broken. I checked all the local hardware and hobby shops but was unable to find a proper replacement. All the wires I found were just to malleable. The original wire measured .047 inches in diameter. I contacted a local piano tuner and purchased 4 ft of .045 wire from him yesterday. The piano wire is almost an exact duplicate for the original.....plus it only cost me $3.00! Score!
