Service Manual Isn't on MyMopar

I am trying to fix the wiring in my 76 Plymouth Duster. Some people have recommended downloading the service manual from Mymopar.com, but the service manual for Plymouth Valiant stops at 72. Does anyone know where I can find the manual online? The wiring is apparently different from previous years, so I would like to find one specifically for 1976. I wouldn't mind buying one if they sell one for a 76 Duster. Thanks.

That is the same one that is on Ebay for $15, but I figured it would not be specific for the duster since it says chrysler, plymouth, and dodge. I am having trouble with certain wires. Do you think it would be good enough to help me fix a few missing wires under the hood? I have no experience following a wiring diagram, so I am hoping a service manual will be very detailed.

Won't their wiring diagram be the same as the one on mymopar? They have a 76 wiring diagram, its in black and white, but I figured it was the same. I can't read one to save my life though. This is my first rebuild. I'll try to learn more about them though.

Sorry pal, I can't help you. The manual probably won't help you much if you can't read a wiring diagram.
 
Here's the thing about wiring diagrams

1...The free MyMopar ones leave out some options, and some connectors, and don't document what the connectors look like. Nevertheless, they are free and are still very useful. They are sometimes easier to follow than factory

2...Mopar OEM diagrams up through 72 were "line drawings" meaning you can follow from one point to another. For 73, A bodies, THIS CHANGED. The diagrams are extremely different, and very difficult to trace in that manner. In some ways they are more helpful, EG there is a connector drawing and location chart behind the diagrams.

3.....As noted, the 76 has a few differences between 73 (last year at MyMopar), 74, and 75--76. One difference is the ill fated '74 interlock for seat belts, example

Duster fusible link wiring problem
When some gives a 'thanks' and no further questions, most of us assume that means it was useful.

Here's how to read the basic Chrysler diagram
Electrical Wiring (Session 247) from the Master Technician's Service Conference

Then you need to practice reading them. You can start with the colorized and sumplified diagram in the linked post above. See if it matches what you have in the car. Post pictures and questions if you need.

@67Dart273 has also scanned the Chrysler diagrams for 1976 A-body - a link to that pdf is in the sticky thread about Factory Service manuals.
 
One more thing you will need to know after learning to read the diagrams;
Voltage and Amperage.
As best I can tell, this all started when you found at least one of the fusible links damaged or melted.
Voltage is potential for flow. Amperage is flow.
Current flows from the highest voltage to the lowest it can access. We measure the flow as Amps.
There can be voltage without amperage.
There is no flow (amperage) when the circuits are open (switches are off) even though the battery side has 12+ Volts .
The fusible link melts when there is too much flow.
If you can read the diagrams here, you will have made much progress; both personally and toward solving your problem.

The way these diagrams are drawn, wires will go across 7-8 pages. Maybe it's me, but gives me a headache trying to follow on computer. Still gotta know what you are doing but much easier with book.

For those, you need to look at the circuit name and use that to keep track of where it goes from page to page...

I bought a laminated wiring diagram and service manual from eBay, so hopefully I’ll be able to get it down.

I’m in physics right now and we are learning about circuits, so maybe that will help me.

People learn differently, but from my experience learning the basic electric on your car will help in physics electricity. What you learn in physics will then help you further understand the automotive stuff.

Reading and drawing wiring diagrams and schematics you will not learn in physics class.
You will probably want to draw a simplified diagram of just the circuits with the fusible links. Otherwise you end up looking back and forth from page to page as Kieth (zkx14) mentioned. That's what I started back in your first thread about fusible links. Duster fusible link wiring problem
Now, looking the Chrysler diagram from 67dart273, and your photos, I think what I did only partially represents what is on your car.
You can use MS Paint, or paper and colored pencils, or both but go ahead and make it on one page or screen. Just the circuits with the links. Ignore all the others.
