There's several warnings, around, stating that it is unsafe to run tubes in radial tires, due to the sidewall flex of the tire. -- I see tubes advertised for use in, both, on-road, and off-road vehicles. These tubes are called "radial tubes." -- What does that mean ? -- Does it mean that they are safe in a radial tire - or - does it just imply that ? -- I do not plan to use a tube in a radial tire for on-road use. --- GR16 KR16 GR/KR-16 16" Tire Inner Tube for Auto, Truck, & Equipment TR13 Radial | eBay ------------------ I sent a message to this seller asking the same question re safety for on-road use. Awaiting answer.

Yes. Radial tubes are safe for radial tires. That's what they are made for.

You must not have gotten the answer you were looking for in your other thread.

Actually I did, but sealing a Centerline is sort of a PITA. -- Also I will run a tube, if I determine that it is safe. -- I said that I wouln't to keep The "Sharp Shooters" from beating Me up. -- :D --

It's perfectly safe. millions of OTR trucks run radial tubes in tubeless tires every single day. I used to sell and install tires and tubes by the truckload.

Just confusing having 3 threads about the same subject. Carry on.

-- The other thread was about sealing a Centerline wheel. -- This thread is about the safety of running a tube in a radial tire. -- Sorry -- Let's END IT.

Gotchya. Fair enough.
