What are you listening to ?
Well, I had all 5 of the first albums on vinyl. And saw them once in concert.
I left deaf on one side.
Looking at the internet, it seems I had an early UK pressing of Master Of Reality. About 15 when I bought it.
Got rid of many albums years ago, including those.
And, having only the radio, I became tired of hearing Ozzy's voice and the same three (not so good) songs of his in his solo career.
I recently have started listening to the first 4 albums.
I suppose that I may have forgotten just how good they are.
The sum of the parts was greater than the whole.
Supernaut (song) - Wikipedia
In an interview with Q magazine, Beck Hansen named the "Supernaut" riff as his all-time favourite, equal with Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl." The song was also a favorite of Frank Zappa[1] and John Bonham.[2] When played live, the song frequently featured a drum solo.
