Update #1-
finally got the motor in the shop and have slowly began to break down the motor for inspection
taking things apart slowly and placing hardware in ziplock bags labled with coresponding parts, im starting to develop quite the pile of parts
finally got it stripped down to see the valves and things look pretty promising, valve lash is not bad at all, valves are carboned up, pushrods are straight, and as you turn it by hand, you can hear the sweet hissing sound of compression.
while taking it apart, i discovered this beauty!
and lastly, new motor mounts are in!
